The Medical Assistant provides direct patient care, including clinical procedures, laboratory tests, and assistance to licensed staff. They also perform clerical duties such as scheduling appointments and maintaining medical records to ensure efficient clinic operations.
Candidates must hold a current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, NCMA, etc.) or relevant EMT/Paramedic certification. The role requires the ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays in a 24/7 healthcare environment.
