The social worker provides inpatient psychiatric care, including psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and crisis intervention within an interdisciplinary team. They also manage a caseload of patients and facilitate discharge planning to ensure a safe transition to community care.
A Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field and valid Ohio licensure (LSW or LPC) are required. Candidates must have experience or training in working with patients suffering from mental illness or substance use disorders.
For Hire: Master’s degree in Social Work or Professional Counseling or related field and valid Ohio licensure (LSW or LPC) required. Eligibility for future independent licensure required. Independent licensure (LISW or LPCC) preferred. Pre or Post-Master’s training and experience in working with patients with mental illness and/or substance disorders is also required. Experience via an internship prior to completing Master’s level education may be considered. Experience with completing mental health & crisis assessments, case-management, and conducting evidenced based psychosocial interventions preferred.
