The MRI Technologist performs a variety of MRI procedures to ensure optimal image quality while maintaining patient safety. They are also responsible for accurate documentation and entering charges into the Radiology Information System.

In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors; the MRI Technologist performs a variety of MRI procedures both professional and non-clinical consistent with optimal image quality.
What You Will Do
Provides patient care, ensures an environment of patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives and exhibits professionalism within established Radiology and Imaging National standards.

Responsible for entering on-line charges in the computer system (Radiology Information System-RIS) and accountable for charges as specified by the Administrative Policy, ensuring a high level of accuracy.

Candidates must be a graduate of a Magnetic Resonance Technology Program and hold current ARRT or ARMRIT certification. Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology is required, along with current CPR certification.
