The Patient Care Technician provides direct patient care, including vital signs, phlebotomy, and EKG testing, under the direction of a professional RN. They are responsible for observing and documenting patients' physical and emotional conditions while ensuring safety practices are followed.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and hold a relevant certification such as CNA, NCMA, or NCPCT. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required for this position.
