The Respiratory Therapist will provide timely and efficient respiratory care services to patients in accordance with department policies and procedures. They will work collaboratively with the medical team to assess patients, administer treatments, and manage clinical care in emergency and routine settings.
Candidates must hold a valid Oklahoma Respiratory Care Practitioner license and NBRC certification as a CRT or RRT. At least one year of post-graduation experience is required, along with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

The CRT/RRT will provide services, timely and efficiently, at appropriate levels to all patients in all settings served by the department. The CRT/RRT will perform tasks and duties as outlined in the Cardiopulmonary Services Department Policy and Procedure Manual and will assist in administrative tasks and will maintain clinical competencies through participation in educational and orientation programs. The CRT/RRT always works as a team member within the entire facility in accordance to the mission, vision, and values of the Hospital and accepts other duties as assigned to maintain the quality of service to the patient. This position may require the CRT/RRT to work weekends, evening or night shifts, flex schedules, and be “on call.”
