The Gastroenterologist will perform various endoscopic procedures including EGDs, colonoscopies, ERCP, and EMR in a hospital-employed setting. Additionally, the role involves conducting out-patient clinic visits and participating in a 1/3 call schedule.
Candidates must have successfully completed an internal medicine residency and a gastroenterology fellowship program. Applicants are required to be board eligible or board certified and hold an unrestricted Alabama physician license.
Solo Practice Hospital Employed Procedures: EGDs Colons Bravo ERCP HALO EMR (endoscopic mucosal resection) Fecal Transplant Out-patient clinic visits Call Schedule 1/3 Monday- Friday (8am-5pm) some night and weekend required
