The Registered Nurse will provide coordination and management of patient care for premature and critically ill infants within the NICU. They will function as a partner in the care management team while adhering to professional and hospital standards.

Our Fox Valley Hospital is the only hospital in northeast Wisconsin dedicated exclusively to the care of kids.

Our NICU is a Level III, 22-bed NICU unit, located in Neenah, WI. The staff provides critical care to premature and critically ill infants in Northeast Wisconsin.

The unit is equipped with the state-of-the-art equipment necessary for the diagnosis and treatment of critically ill newborns.

We are seeking experienced NICU nurses for a .6 D/N Weekends position. Includes Weekend Bonus Program and Shift Differentials!

*Preferred candidates will have NICU or relevant high-acuity pediatric population experience.

RN Responsibilities

Performs as a partner in the CHW - Fox Valley care management team. Provides coordination and management of patient care to pediatric patients and families within a continuum of care. Delegates patient care activities as appropriate within a care management assignment. Functions within professional and hospital standards.

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing in order to meet the recommended entry level for a professional nurse (or equivalent academic and/or professional experience); BSN preferred.
  • A license to practice professional nursing in the State of Wisconsin.
  • NRP and PALS certification within 1 year of employment.
  • Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required.
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification - American Heart Association (AHA) training is required within 90 days.

Requirements

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and hold a valid Wisconsin nursing license. Preferred qualifications include a BSN and previous experience in a NICU or high-acuity pediatric setting.
