The Medical Assistant will perform clinical and administrative tasks, including interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, and maintaining medical records. They will also assist the Nurse Practitioner with virtual visitations and prepare treatment rooms for examinations.
Our Candidate The Medical Assistant part-time performs multi-skilled activities to support a decentralized patient-centered approach to patient care and achieve desired outcomes. Candidate will assist in a combination of clinical and administrative task. Assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of the Nurse Practitioner. What you'll do
· Interviews patients, measures vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), · Records or inputs information to patients' medical records. · Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. · Assist Nurse Practitioner with virtual visitations. · Scheduling appointments · Maintaining accurate patient records.
Minimum Education and Experience: · High school diploma or equivalent. · Basic computer skills required · Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing · One year of patient care experience is preferred.
