The Laboratory Scientist is responsible for performing and interpreting clinical laboratory tests to provide accurate results for patient diagnosis and treatment. They must maintain strict adherence to industry guidelines, equipment manufacturer protocols, and regulatory standards.

This position is responsible for performing and interpreting clinical laboratory tests that require complete adherence to industry & equipment manufacturer guidelines.
Overview
Performs all laboratory tests necessary for diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Responsible for reporting results which are accurate as substantiated by use of appropriate controls.
Performs and demonstrates proficiency and understanding of routine procedures for all areas of the laboratory.
BA or BS in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution (Required)
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE No certifications required.
You will be required to comply with governmental regulations and strictly observe privacy and security related policies, procedures and practices to preserve the integrity and confidentiality of medical and other sensitive information pertaining to donors, patients, research subjects, and staff.
You will be required to enter areas where other individuals work with human blood; potential may exist for unanticipated exposure to bloodborne pathogens by splash or spill.
