The role involves performing technical procedures for patient admission, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment within a dermatology setting. Responsibilities include conducting physical exams, writing medical orders, and coordinating care with attending physicians and nursing staff.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and be a graduate of an accredited PA or NP program with the corresponding New York State licensure. Required certifications include NCCPA for PAs, National Board Certification for NPs, and current BLS certification.
Performs a variety of functions and technical procedures necessary for patient admission, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and outcome evaluation. Participates in performance improvement, research, and educational activities.
