Market context

North Carolina histology roles remain specialized

In North Carolina, histologic technician roles in anatomic pathology are typically driven by hospital and lab staffing needs, especially for evening or overnight coverage. This role is competitive because employers often prefer candidates with clinical histology experience and HT (ASCP) certification, while the 3rd shift schedule can narrow the applicant pool. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save time, then confirm your training, certification, and shift availability before applying.
