The Nurse Practitioner Fellow provides mentored clinical care to patients using an interdisciplinary approach while maintaining accurate documentation. They are responsible for participating in evaluation processes and showing progress toward professional role development and quality improvement goals.
Candidates must be recent graduates of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with primary care adult or family certification. Applicants must hold or be eligible for Maryland licensure and clinical certification.
The Nurse Practitioner Fellow is a post-graduate clinical trainee participating in the SNAPT Fellowship Program who provides mentored clinical care to patients through an interdisciplinary and collaborative approach that considers the psychosocial aspects of health and disease. The Fellow will transition after 12 months to traditional practice and is committed to a second year of employment in a Nurse Practitioner role with opportunities for ongoing employment.
