The Optometrist provides primary vision care, conducts eye examinations, and develops treatment plans for patients within a medical home model. They also manage communication with other practitioners and ensure clinic instrumentation meets quality compliance standards.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a patient-centered optometry practice and hold a valid state license. A graduate degree from an accredited school of Optometry and current BLS certification are also required.

Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. Manual and finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination Includes full range of body motion including potential of handling and lifting patients. Requires corrected vision, hearing and speech within normal ranges. Must be able to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
