Performs imaging procedures and treatments according to radiology standards to assist in disease diagnosis and treatment. Maintains equipment and procedure rooms while ensuring patient safety and compliance with hospital policies.
Requires registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Candidates must have at least 6 months of experience in the specialty area.
Education Description Minimum Required Preferred/Desired Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Associate's degree or accredited school of Surgical Technology Training Description Minimum Required Preferred/Desired Special Skills Description Minimum Required Preferred/Desired Licensure Description Minimum Required Preferred/Desired BLS Certification within 14 DAYS of HIRE; ACLS certification or within 6 months of hire; NOTE: Only eligible for position for 18 months as RCIS/RCES certification for Cardiovascular Technologist required within 1 year of eligibility. CST certification required for Surgical Tech
