The Occupational Therapist will evaluate and treat residents to enhance their functional independence and mobility while maintaining accurate medical documentation. They are also responsible for supervising assistants, providing staff training, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to support resident care goals.
The candidate must be a qualified Occupational Therapist (OTR) capable of performing resident assessments and developing individualized treatment plans. Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain a safe, compliant treatment environment are essential for this role.
Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants in direct resident care and related activities, following state practice acts.
