• Type: Full TimeA Personal Care Aide is responsible for assisting the elderly and/or disabled members with essential daily living needs in their homes and in accordance with their plan of care. Floater is scheduled to do temporary fill ins in the absence of a regular scheduled PCA or for any unstaffed members.

• QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS: Must be at least 18 years of age. Have valid drivers license, auto insurance, and dependable transportation. Must have completed personal care training program and competency. Must have a smartphone or tablet and install the State required app for clocking in/out. Have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and elderly. Ability to carry out directions, read and write. Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.

• Ability to perform the following tasks if necessary: Ability to work for extended period of time while standing and being involved in physical activity. Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. Ability to do extensive bending, lifting and standing on a regular basis.
