Qualifications

Required

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from AVMA accredited University or equivalent international training. Board Certified by American College of Veterinary Pathologists, European College of Veterinary Pathologists or Japanese College of Veterinary Pathologists, although board eligible candidates will be considered.

Preferred

Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in one of the 50 United States. Residency training or advanced degree and substantial experience in nonhuman primate clinical and anatomic pathology. Strong knowledge of nonhuman primate pathology and working knowledge of pathology laboratory equipment. Knowledge/experience in molecular pathology, stereological techniques and HALO software. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with scientists in biomedical research and interdisciplinary research teams. Strong knowledge in computer use. Strong leadership and communication skills.
