The Medical Assistant or LPN is responsible for performing clinical and procedural patient care, including rooming patients, collecting vitals, and administering tests. They must maintain accurate documentation and assist physicians and management in a high-volume primary care environment.
Applicants must hold a high school diploma and be a Certified Medical Assistant or LPN from a recognized program. Proficiency in medical coding, familiarity with EPIC EMR, and a thorough understanding of HIPAA regulations are strongly preferred.
1. High School diploma or equivalent certificate 2. Qualified applicants must be a Certified Medical Assistant and will have graduated from a recognized Medical Assistant program. 3. Prior experience in ambulatory health care facility preferred 4. Ability to learn related center tasks and be of assistance to management and physicians. 5. Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards. 6. CPR certified within the first 3 months of employment. 7. Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding is preferred 8. Familiarity with the EPIC EMR is strongly preferred. 9. Thorough understanding of HIPAA law. .
