Practice for this role

About the role

The physician will provide advanced gynecologic oncology care as part of a multi-specialty group practice in Lafayette. Responsibilities include participating in multidisciplinary tumor boards, performing surgeries, and enrolling patients in clinical trials.

We've made a lot of progress since opening the doors in 1942, but one thing has never changed - our commitment to serve, heal, lead, educate, and innovate. We believe that every award earned, every record broken and every patient helped is because of the dedicated employees who fill our hallways.

At Ochsner, whether you work with patients every day or support those who do, you are making a difference and that matters. Come make a difference at Ochsner Health and discover your future today!

OCHSNER HEALTH IN LAFAYETTE is currently seeking a BC/BE fellowship trained Gynecologic Oncology Surgeon to join our existing 5 physician, multi-specialty group practice.

As Ochsner Gynecologic Oncology expands to southwest Louisiana, we are looking to add two partners to our Lafayette-based team.

Our New Orleans and Lafayette teams will work jointly to provide the highest level of and most advanced care in the Gynecologic Oncology practice.

Members of all sites participate in a multidisciplinary Tumor Board, have access to a large referral center in New Orleans for surgical support when necessary, and have the ability to enroll in both industry-sponsored, and cooperative group trials.

Currently, members of the Ochsner Gynecology Oncology section see patients at Ochsner Baptist, The Gayle and Tom Benson Cancer Center at OMC Jefferson Highway, Ochsner Cancer Center Baton Rouge, Chabert Medical Center in Houma, and the Ochsner St.

Tammany Cancer Center.

We have a broad referral area and strong telemedicine component to our practice.

Ochsner Health is Louisiana’s largest non-profit regional health system committed to always delivering excellence.
