- How you’ll make an impact in this role Support the daily well-being of our patients by assisting with personal care and activities of daily living, ensuring every individual maintains their dignity and comfort during their stay.
- Create a safe and welcoming environment by managing the seamless entry and exit of patients, serving as a steady and reassuring presence during transitions of care.
- Monitor and report vital changes in a patient’s physical or emotional state to the nursing team, acting as a critical set of "eyes and ears" to ensure proactive and safe clinical interventions.
- Document care activities and observations with precision to maintain high-quality records that keep the entire medical team aligned on the patient’s progress.
- Maintain a high standard of safety and healing by ensuring patient rooms are orderly and medical equipment is ready for immediate use, directly contributing to a high-functioning clinical floor.
What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Nurse Aide credentialed from the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin, and in Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work in a hospital setting obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Additional certs may be required by specific job locations.
Education
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Note
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
