The Physical Therapy Assistant provides routine treatment and direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. They are responsible for documenting patient progress, maintaining records, and communicating status changes to the supervising therapist.
Candidates must hold an Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program and possess a current state license or eligibility for one. Additionally, a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
