The physician is responsible for the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of patient health problems while maintaining positive relationships with hospital staff. They must also participate in quality improvement initiatives, provide clinical oversight to students and residents, and ensure accurate medical documentation.
Candidates must hold a Doctorate in Medicine (MD) or Osteopathic Medicine (DO) and possess a valid Michigan state license. Additionally, required certifications include DEA registration and Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
