The Registered Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a collaborative environment. They must support the goals and philosophy of the Department of Nursing while providing high-quality care within their scope of practice.
Responsible for utilizing the Nursing Process in a collaborative manner to plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in accordance with his/her scope of practice. The RN supports the goals and philosophy of the Department of Nursing within the St. Joseph's Healthcare System and on his/her assigned unit.

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc.” The salary range does not include incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
St. Joseph’s University Medical Center is an academic tertiary care medical center and state designated trauma center, located on the Paterson campus, regularly accepts referrals of difficult or unusual cases from other hospitals and physicians and performs both complex and routine procedures.

Candidates must hold a valid Registered Nurse license in the State of New Jersey and possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at the time of hire. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred, and additional certifications like ACLS and PALS are required per hospital policy.
