The COTI Clinician will conduct diagnostic evaluations and provide therapeutic services including individual, family, and group therapy. They are also responsible for managing client caseloads, responding to crisis situations, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with agency standards.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Health or Human Services and possess a CASAC, CASAC-T, or CASAC-P certification. Additionally, 3 years of administrative experience in a behavioral health setting and a valid NYS driver's license are required.
Master’s Degree or higher in Health or Human Services Skills/Knowledge/Experience: Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, staff, and community partners Knowledge of local behavioral health systems and resources Excellent multi-tasking, problem-solving, and time management abilities Ability to remain calm under pressure, especially in crisis situations Familiarity with electronic records (E-record) Experience in providing crisis intervention and mobile services Comfort in delivering community-based and crisis services
