The Physical Therapist Assistant will work under a licensed therapist to implement individualized treatment plans for patients. They are responsible for providing therapeutic exercises, gait and transfer training, and monitoring patient progress.
Candidates must hold a current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of California. A current BLS Certification is also required for this position.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team at the Department of State Hospitals – Coalinga in Coalinga, CA. The PTA will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to help implement treatment plans and provide therapeutic interventions that support patient mobility, function, and overall rehabilitation goals.
