The occupational therapist is responsible for providing evaluations, modalities, and treatments for a designated group of patients. They also oversee the care provided by certified occupational therapist assistants, rehabilitation technicians, students, and observers.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy and possess a current Georgia license or compact privileges. New graduates are eligible to apply, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA is required.
Overview Serves as clinical expert providing education, research, coaching, direct care, consultation, leadership collaboration and ethical decision making for patients and surgical services staff. Serves as a change agent and promotes quality through the utilization of clinical expertise. Provides clinical care as needed when staffing and/or case load demands. Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to leader(s) as needed.

Education H.S.
