The CT Technologist performs diagnostic computerized tomographic examinations under the guidance of a radiologist. They provide patient care across all age groups while ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging.
Candidates must be graduates of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited training. They are required to hold ARRT certification and BCLS credentials, along with at least 6 months of experience.
Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
