The CT Technologist performs diagnostic computerized tomographic examinations using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images. They provide patient care to all age groups while working under the guidance of a supervising Radiologist.
Candidates must be a graduate of a JRCERT approved Radiologic Technology program and hold ARRT certification. A BLS certification is required, and six months of experience as a Radiological Technologist is preferred.

JOB PURPOSE: Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Graduate of an JRCERT approved Radiologic Technology program. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Certified by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT). MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R). PREFER: 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: BLS certified. Business
