The Medical Assistant II provides clinical support to physicians, including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and performing telephone triage. They are also responsible for maintaining medical documentation, scheduling diagnostic tests, and processing referrals and prescription requests.
Candidates must have over 5 years of patient care experience in a physician's office setting. A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
