Job description

Summary of position

Provides therapeutic interventions to promote personal growth and resiliency in the form of emotional, cognitive, behavioral and/or psychological changes in clients with a primary behavioral health diagnosis. Performs continuing assessment of the client’s needs and functioning, maintenance of appropriate documentation and development, and implementation of personal growth plans consistent with the client’s therapeutic needs.

Essential duties & responsibilities

Facilitates therapy sessions for a client or group of clients.

Assists the care team in the development of treatment plans and modifies plans over time in response to client progress.

Conducts intake for recipient entering services, including explaining services, gathering information needed on intake materials, ensuring service recipient understands all forms, assuring signature on appropriate contracts and consents, and submitting materials for processing, as assigned. Conduct assessment and write assessment summaries, as assigned.

Assists client with making linkages with internal and external resources as outlined in treatment plan and in coordination with Integrated Healthcare Services. Maintains appropriate contact with referral sources including providing information on client progress, behavior, and needs (with appropriate releases), and maintaining ongoing consultation when appropriate.

Assists client in making discharge plans and provide follow up services as assigned.

Provides ongoing clinical supervision of practicum and internship students, and staff, as qualified and assigned.

Monitors urinalysis, breathalyzer, and other testing as assigned.

Knowledge, skills & abilities

Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.

Knowledge of community geographical awareness and of community and agency resources.

Skill in customer service techniques.

Skill in problem-solving.

Skill in consultation and networking.

Qualifications: Education Level

Master's degree required.

Years of Experience 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred.

Certification/Licensure: LISW, LCSW, LMHC, LPC, or LPCC required

Pay Range

$53,250.00--$74,600.00

Requirements

Requires a Master's degree and a valid professional license such as LISW, LCSW, LMHC, LPC, or LPCC. Two years of post-licensure experience is preferred.
