The Medical Assistant performs clinical and administrative duties, including patient care, vital sign collection, and assisting providers with minor surgeries. They are also responsible for maintaining electronic medical records, managing laboratory specimens, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or equivalent and possess a professional certification such as RMA, CCMA, LPN, or CNA. Previous outpatient clinical office experience is preferred.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent (May be allowed to sign a GED agreement to obtain within 6-months) RMA, CCMA, or licensed by Kentucky Board of Nursing as LPN or CNA Experience: Preferred outpatient clinical office experience
