The Patient Care Technician is responsible for maintaining equipment and supply levels while ensuring the cleanliness of the surgical center. They also assist nurses and surgical technicians with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative duties, including patient positioning.
Patient Care Technician duties will consist of, but are not limited to: Stocking of new deliveries (supplies and equipment). Daily checks with stocking the Center in its entirety. Cleaning and room turnovers of the ORs per the Center’s policy and procedures. Assist with patient positioning in the ORs. Assisting with general duties asked by the other staff members. Be always professional and courteous. Follow HIPAA privacy guidelines. Multi-tasker, team player, adaptable, and organized a must. #LP QualificationsQualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Must possess knowledge of supplies and equipment. Must possess knowledge of proper cleaning technique per the Center’s policy and procedures. Must be able to communicate and understand the English language, both verbal and written.
