The technician is responsible for performing EKGs, collecting and preparing various specimen types, and assisting with patient registration and clerical tasks. They also manage pre-analytical automation and provide training for internal and external staff.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, along with phlebotomy or Medical Assistant training and required state clearances. A.S.C.P. certification in phlebotomy is preferred.
Four year high school graduate or GED equivalent with phlebotomy or Medical Assistant Training and ACT 169 clearance.
Successful completion of Acts 73 and/or 169 clearances within 90 days of commencing employment, if applicable.
