Telemetry Technician (Nights)

Position Summary

• The ICU Telemetry Technician monitors cardiac rhythms of patients on telemetric equipment. Interprets basic cardiac rhythms, common dysrhythmias and monitor mechanical malfunctions. Perform specific clerical and reception functions under the direction of the Charge Nurse/Nurse Director. He/she requisitions supplies, equipment and services as directed. Under direct supervision, he/she will assist the licensed nursing staff, by answering call lights and reporting findings to licensed nursing staff.
• Basic Arrhythmia certification
• Medical Terminology class or one (1) year experience in medical related field

Position Pay Range

$18.63 - $25.18/ Hourly In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Act, El Centro Regional Medical Center (ECRMC) posts the pay range for all jobs. Please note that actual pay will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please also note this range is applicable for employees who reside in California only. A geographical pay differential may be applied for remote employees who reside out of state.
