The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant treats patients in outpatient and inpatient settings under leadership supervision. They are responsible for patient education, ensuring continuity of care, and maintaining accurate medical documentation.
Candidates must possess strong fine motor skills and the ability to interact effectively with patients, staff, and providers. The role requires excellent observation and communication skills, along with the physical ability to perform direct patient care tasks.
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (Outpatient\Inpatient) works under the supervision of leadership and treats patients in a variety of modalities, educate the family/patient, and assures continuity of treatment. Responsible for all necessary documentation as required by accepted medical guidelines.
