SUMMARY

Essential
Functions:
Perform all mammography exams and procedures according to established protocols to provide quality images and patient care in a timely manner.
Obtain patient history, answer questions, and provide the patient with information about the exam and/or procedure so they are comfortable and thoroughly understand it.
Work with the radiologists, referring clinics and/or patients to ensure the appropriate exams, films and medical records are correct and prepared for the exam.
Ensure all necessary paperwork is accurate and complete for the radiologist, referring clinic and the patient’s medical records.
Incorporate company values into daily interactions with internal and external customers.
Other duties may include, but are not limited to, training new employees, stocking and/or ordering department supplies and assisting in other departments.
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:
RT (R) from an approved educational program required.
6-12 months mammography experience preferred.
