The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for all aspects of respiratory care, including ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and blood gas analysis. They must also participate in multi-disciplinary team collaboration and quality assessment activities within the department.
Candidates must be graduates of a CoARC accredited program with an AS/BS in Respiratory Care and hold a valid PA State Board of Medicine License. Required certifications include AHA BLS, PALS, and current CRT/RRT credentials through the NBRC.
