The Wound Care Technician provides direct patient care, including wound treatments, phlebotomy, and vital sign monitoring under the direction of a Registered Nurse. They also act as a Health Unit Coordinator to manage patient records, supply inventory, and facilitate communication between staff and families.
Candidates must hold a certification in nurse aide, medical assistant, or patient care technician, or be enrolled in an accredited nursing program. A current Heartsaver CPR card is required within 90 days of hire.
