The Direct Support Professional provides life skills training and personal care assistance to participants in various community and agency settings. They are responsible for implementing individualized training plans, administering medication, and maintaining accurate documentation of participant progress and medical needs.
Candidates should possess the ability to work a flexible schedule and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 75 pounds. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
