The Registered Nurse is responsible for preparing and recovering patients for various cardiac procedures including catheterizations, electrophysiology, and surgeries. They provide competent nursing care using the critical thinking model and the nursing process to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Candidates must hold an Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing and possess a valid Virginia or Compact RN license. At least one year of bedside nursing experience is required, with BLS and ACLS certifications needed within specified timeframes.
