The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for positioning patients, operating radiologic equipment, and ensuring high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining safety standards. They also monitor patient vital signs, administer contrast media, and maintain accurate patient records.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • ARRT certification (required)
  • Iowa Permit to Practice (or eligibility)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness and interest in learning additional imaging modalities

  • Education
  • Completion of accredited course radiologic technology or Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology.

Certification/License

Current certification (ARRT) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Current BCLS certification.

Current state permit as General Diagnostic Radiographer.

Monday - Friday.

Hours

  • 8:00
  • AM - 5:00 PM

Requirements

Candidates must have completed an accredited radiologic technology course or hold an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology. Current ARRT certification, BCLS certification, and a state permit as a General Diagnostic Radiographer are required.
