The Medical Assistant will assist medical providers with patient examinations and procedures, obtain and document patient information, and perform various laboratory procedures. They will also maintain exam rooms, assist in patient education, and ensure compliance with established standards and policies.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, with formal education as a Medical Assistant preferred. Previous medical office experience and BLS certification are highly desirable, along with strong communication and collaboration skills.
High school diploma/GED required. Completion of formal education as a Medical Assistant, or other allied health program preferred. Must possess current BLS certification upon hire or obtain one within 6 months of date of hire and maintain in a current/active status thereafter. 2.
