Division/Program: (Adult 24/7 Inpatient) Crisis Residential Unit
17.46 - 19.00 USD Per Hour
Working Location: Merced, CA

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree in a social science field is preferred.
Experience: One (1) year of full-time direct care experience preferred, OR one (1) year of non-professional, consumer-directed internship experience in the mental health field preferred.
Licensure &
Compliance: A valid California Driver’s License and the ability to meet agency driving criteria.
How you will make a difference
Promotes and assists clients with self-help skills in the areas of eating, hygiene and grooming and other activity or nursing activities.
Monitors client’s attendance at assigned activities and maximizes client participation through appropriate motivational techniques.
Conducts and assists activity groups and community outings independently.
Encourages client’s interaction and socialization with other peers, providing feedback to clients on appropriate behavior while acting as a role model.
Accurately documents in writing each client’s attendance and response to activity and therapeutic groups or individual counseling in the individual medical record.
May be required to operate a company vehicle to transport clients.
