Market context

Florida lab assistant roles stay steady

In Florida, Lab Assistant II openings are typically tied to ongoing clinical testing needs, so demand is often steady in hospitals, outpatient labs, and other healthcare settings. These roles are competitive because employers usually want a high school diploma plus one year of lab experience or a formal phlebotomy program, with phlebotomy certification required where state law mandates it. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save research time, then confirm your hands-on specimen handling and phlebotomy credentials before applying.
