The clinician provides mobile crisis intervention services to children and families, including conducting assessments and developing individualized crisis plans. They are responsible for coordinating clinical interventions, maintaining accurate electronic health records, and facilitating aftercare services.
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field and be eligible for CT state licensure. A minimum of two years of experience supporting children and families with emotional and behavioral challenges is required.

The Child and Family Guidance Center is currently seeking a Per Diem MCIS Overnight Clinician in our Bridgeport Mobile Crisis Intervention Services group.
Per-Diem MCIS Overnight Clinician This “as-needed” role is filled by a Master’s-level clinician who provides coverage when Full-Time Overnight Clinicians are unavailable.
include delivering crisis intervention services to children (ages 0–18) experiencing behavioral or mental health crises. The goal is to offer accessible, community-based care that reduces emergency department visits and avoids hospitalization when a lower level of care is safe and appropriate.
9pm- 6am: Sunday- Saturday, as needed.
