Perform diagnostic tests on blood, urine, fecal, and biopsy samples using automated analyzers and microscopes to help veterinarians diagnose pets. Responsible for setting up tests and releasing results according to Standard Operating Procedures across various specialties like Hematology and Chemistry.
Requires a clinical pathology skillset in a veterinary or human lab setting and the ability to work a permanent 4:30 AM shift. A science-related degree is preferred, and experience as a Veterinary Technician or Medical Laboratory Technician is a plus.
Analysis and evaluation of chemical and microscopic components of urine samples, using automated instrumentation and manual techniques.
