The Nursing Assistant provides basic patient care, including nutrition, mobility, and safety support under the supervision of an RN. They are also responsible for transporting patients and assisting with data collection to facilitate delegated nursing care.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, along with completion of a state-approved nursing assistant course or equivalent military/nursing school training. Two years of previous healthcare experience and Basic Life Support certification are required.
