The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic X-ray exams on patients of all ages while ensuring high-quality imaging and adherence to safety standards. They are also responsible for equipment maintenance, quality control procedures, and assisting in the clinical instruction of students.
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited Radiology program and hold American Registry of Radiologic Technology certification. Additionally, an Iowa Department of Health Permit to Practice and current CPR/BCLS certification are required.
Education: Graduation of Radiology program accredited through the American Registry of Radiologic Technology approved by IDPH required.
