The Direct Care Worker will provide in-home support to participants, including assistance with household chores, meal preparation, and errands. They will also perform personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and assisting with mobility equipment like wheelchairs and lifts.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and capable of lifting up to 200 lbs with assistance. A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and the ability to obtain required background clearances are mandatory.
accessAbilities, a local Human Services agency, is hiring compassionate and caring, part-time staff to assist individuals with In Home Caregiver services in the Murrysville, PA area for our Home & Community services program.
In Home Caregivers (also known as Attendants) support participants with household duties and personal care services. Staff assist with laundry, housekeeping, shopping and preparing meals, and help with errands. Duties also include transfers from/to bed, bathing, dressing, grooming and assisting with personal support equipment such as wheelchairs, manual/electric lifts, and leg braces, etc.
We offer part-time hours and shifts.
No experience is necessary. Paid training is provided.
Prior experience as a direct care aide or home health aide is helpful.
