About the role

Provide safe, effective, and high-quality nursing care to patients in the operating room following established professional practice models. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, and evaluate patient health outcomes throughout the perioperative process.

At NorthBay Health the Registered Nurse on the Perioperative Unit you will provide safe, effective, quality, excellent nursing care to our patients following Jean Watson’s Theory of Caring, the Relationship Based Care, and the NorthBay’s professional nursing practice model. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for all patients assigned to your care. You will also use a therapeutic professional relationship with the patient and their family along with your interdisciplinary team to facilitate the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health for the patient. Compensation Structure

NorthBay Health uses a structured compensation framework. Staff-level positions use a step-based system (Steps 1–5) based on years of directly related experience, with Step 5 representing 20 or more years of experience in the role. Manager level and above positions are paid a fixed annual base salary and are eligible for a variable incentive compensation plan. Physician compensation is structured based on specialty and role requirements.

Remote Work Disclosure

NorthBay Health is primarily an onsite organization due to the nature of healthcare. Some roles may allow hybrid or remote work based on business needs.

Remote work is not supported in Washington, Ohio, Wyoming, North Dakota, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, or outside of the United States.

Requirements

Requires a BSN degree or higher and a current, unencumbered California RN license. Candidates must have at least 2 years of acute care operating room experience and hold current BLS and ACLS certifications.
